Miller’s Garden Services was formed in 1999 by Matt Miller who has over 15 years experience in landscape construction, landscape design and horticulture. Matt’s training was undertaken at Writtle Agricultural College and he has been nominated for several industry awards.

Based in Essex MGS is a small firm of just 4 staff, who work in all fields of the landscape construction, landscape design and horticultural industry. We have, and are, carrying out a wide variety of work from small domestic bespoke landscape construction projects to large commercial work. With a friendly, personal approach and superb craftsmen our firm has grown year on year and continues to be successful in these uncertain times. MGS is a member of the prestigious Association of Professional Landscaper, Horticultural Trades Association and the Government backed Trust Mark Scheme.

We set a great importance on creating beautiful outside spaces, professional approach to our clients and a very personal service. Some of our many commercial clients have included:

Ipswich NHS Trust – A garden for children. This was a large project funded by a grant from Ipswich Borough Council for children between the ages of 0-9 years old which was both designed and built by us. Among the many features in this garden bespoke features of this garden was, extensive planting, “living roof” structures, wooden part “M” compliant access ramps, hard landscaped areas, drainage systems, lighting and irrigation systems. The project was completed on budget. We are currently scheduled to carry out further work for the Trust in the winter of 09.
Sommerfield Group – Soft landscaping of a new mini supermarket and petrol station.
Islington Council – The design of a school garden with a budget of 140k. We are now currently in a tendering process for the build and plant phase of this project.
Essex County Council – Two school garden projects which were both designed built and planted by us.
Ipswich Borough Council – The design of a council owned pre-school garden.
Warren Heath Primary School – A school garden with a £40k budget which we have designed are currently building.
Channel 4 – A bespoke garden for a major documentary series
Strutt and Parker – Commercial Garden Maintenance
